BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - The contest begins Thursday for fans to come up with a name for Biloxi’s new AA baseball team.

The entry form on the Baseball Biloxi website won’t just ask fans for a name.

Team general manager Buck Rogers tells The Sun Herald (https://bit.ly/1rPaEGR ) he wants to know what name means to the Biloxi area.

Rogers says the name also has to translate into a logo that fans will want to wear on a baseball cap or T-shirt.

And Biloxi has to be part of the name.

The city of Biloxi is building the team a $36 million stadium across from the Beau Rivage Resort.

The Huntsville (Ala.) Stars are relocating to Biloxi after the 2014 season. Southern League owners approved the move in December.
