EUNICE, La. (AP) - A Eunice man is in custody, accused of trying to burn a man at a home where he sought his girlfriend.
Eunice Police say 52-year-old John Bourque banged on the residence’s door Tuesday and loudly asked for his girlfriend.

Guillory says Bourque used more gasoline to set the doorway on fire and broke some windows before running away. The four people inside were not hurt.
Bourque was later arrested on four counts of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated arson and criminal damage to property.
Bond was set at $502,500. It was not immediately known if he has an attorney.
