People are becoming too sensitive. We have to walk on eggshells now to make sure no one gets upset (“Dartmouth-nixed ’Phiesta’ fundraiser goes online,” Web, April 28).

Using the word “fiesta” is not cultural appropriation. We live in a melting pot where various cultures intertwine. I wonder if in a few years I’ll be accused of cultural appropriation for liking pad Thai.
