FRANKINTON, La. (AP) - State police say a 21-year-old Franklinton woman died when the all-terrain vehicle she was driving ran a stop sign and hit a car.
The accident happened around 12:55 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of La. Highway 450 and Highway 16 in Washington Parish.
Trooper Greg Marchand says Cynamon A. Warden was air-lifted to a New Orleans hospital where she later was pronounced dead.
Marchand said Warden was not wearing a helmet.
He says the driver of the car was not injured.
