FAIRFIELD, Calif. (AP) - Northern California authorities say two suspects were shot during an investigation of an attempted homicide.
The Fairfield Police Department said in a statement Thursday that just after 2:45 p.m., one suspect, who was armed with a handgun, was shot by a member of a federal task force investigating the attempted killing.
About 30 minutes later, another suspect in the attempted homicide - who was also armed - was shot by Fairfield police nearby.
Authorities said no officers were injured and that the suspects’ conditions were not known.
