SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - Police in coastal Georgia are investigating a three-car crash that left five people injured.

Authorities said in a statement Thursday that a City of Savannah pickup truck carrying three workers was hit by a minivan that crossed the center line. Police say an SUV behind the truck was hit by debris from the crash.

Police say the driver of the minivan was pulled from the vehicle and is hospitalized at Memorial University Medical Center in serious condition. The occupants of the other two vehicles that were involved were taken to Candler Hospital with minor injuries.



Police say the crash is under investigation.
