WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) - Teams of Purdue University students are gearing up for a chance to win more than $10,000 in cash prizes during a media technology competition.
Eleven teams of students will pitch their ideas for new media technologies Tuesday evening to a panel of seven industry experts at Purdue’s Lawson Computer Science.
The competition on the West Lafayette campus is sponsored by Mishawaka-based Schurz Communications.
Winners of the Schurz Communications Innovation Challenge will receive $5,000, $3,500 and $1,500 for first, second and third place prizes. Those attending the event will select the winner of a “Crowd Favorite” prize worth $500.
