OAKRIDGE, Ore. (AP) - Police in the small community of Oakridge, Ore., say they’ve arrested a 15-year-old boy who is accused of threatening to shoot his Oakridge High School classmates.

The Register-Guard reports (https://is.gd/1yBnev ) that students contacted police Monday evening to report the threats, saying the boy had threatened to shoot other students on a specific date.

Police arrested the teen early Tuesday at his home for investigation of disorderly conduct, harassment and theft.



Oakridge is southeast of Eugene.
