PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police are looking for a man who stole several assault weapons from a Wal-Mart store in northwest Phoenix.

According to police, the man entered the store on Bell Road and put three AR-15 military-style carbines into a shopping cart, covered the cart with cardboard and left the building.

The man is described as black or Hispanic, 5-foot-8, bald and between 160 and 200 pounds.



The theft occurred early Friday morning.
