VICKSBURG, Miss. (AP) - At least 16 structures were damaged in Warren County and Vicksburg from Monday’s storms.

Warren County Emergency Manager John Elfer says the system, which has not yet been called a tornado, cut through a four-mile wide area of Warren County south and east of Vicksburg at about 5 p.m. Monday.

Elfer tells The Vicksburg Post (https://bit.ly/1nDwbTn ) the storm began at U.S. Highway 61 South at Glass Road and followed a six miles path to Oak Park before the debris trail splits west of Mississippi Highway 27.

Elfer says the system traveled almost due east into Bovina and then into Edwards.

Officials say power lines and trees were reported down across the city.
