FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Two students at Colorado State University suffered minor injuries when a container exploded after a chemical came in contact with water.

Spokeswoman Dell Rae Ciaravola says the accident occurred Tuesday in the university chemical building.

One student was taken to a hospital for cuts on his face. Another student who was nearby had a minor cut on his hand.



Ciaravola says there is no damage to the building and the building was not evacuated.
