FREEHOLD, N.J. (AP) - Authorities have arrested a man on charges stemming from a shooting on St. Patrick’s Day that left a man wounded in Neptune Township.

The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office says 21-year-old Omar Jackson is held on $650,000 bail, charged with attempted murder.

Officials say Jackson fired a gunshot which struck 19-year-old Sean O’Rourke of Asbury Park on Myrtle Avenue on March 17.

Jackson is held in the county jail and it’s not clear if he has a lawyer.
