PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - A 27-year-old Latimer man has pleaded guilty to downloading child pornography to his computer in March 2010.
The Sun Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1tZ1hq1 ) Richard Dean Thompson pleaded guilty Monday to six counts of exploitation of a child and will be free on bond until he is sentenced July 14.
District Attorney Tony Lawrence objected to Thompson being released after pleading guilty.
Circuit Court Judge Robert Krebs ordered a pre-sentencing investigation to thoroughly evaluate Thompson before he is sentenced.
