WATSONTOWN, Pa. (AP) - Three people have been injured in eastern Pennsylvania after a head-on crash involving a school bus and a car.

It happened in Northumberland County near Watsontown shortly after 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Officials tell WNEP-TV (https://bit.ly/1u0EKcg) there were children on the Warrior Run Area school bus but they were not hurt.



Three people in the car were injured and taken to the hospital. Word on their conditions was not immediately available.

State transportation officials closed the road for about two hours.

An investigation is underway into what might have caused the crash.
