GEORGETOWN, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a second person has died after a three-wheel motorcycle collided with a car in Georgetown.
Troopers say 78-year-old Bobby Luzader of Dover died Monday night at Christiana Hospital, where he was taken after Sunday’s accident.
The crash occurred on Dupont Boulevard when, police say, a turning car pulled into the motorcycle’s path at Speedway Road. Police say the operator of the motorcycle swerved, but the Lincoln Town Car struck the motorcycle, splitting the motorcycle in half and ejecting both riders.
Authorities say a passenger on the motorcycle, 65-year-old Jane Kauffman of Harrington, was pronounced dead at Christiana Hospital Sunday. The driver of the Lincoln was treated and released at another hospital.
The accident remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.
