AYNOR, S.C. (AP) - A man has died in a mobile home fire in Horry County and police are investigating his death as a homicide.
Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick says 68-year-old Charles Smith died in the fire that broke out shortly before 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Authorities have not determined the cause of death, but Horry County Police say evidence in the home leads them to believe someone killed Smith. They did not give details.
The cause of the fire is also under investigation.
