Handgun training offered in Lafourche

RACELAND, La. (AP) - The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office will offer training for people seeking certification to hold a concealed handgun permit.

The Daily Comet reports (https://bit.ly/1nK6Zrn ) the session will take place May 31 from 8 a.m. -5 p.m. May 31 at the sheriff’s shooting range, 3451 Louisiana Highway 182 in Raceland.

The cost to participate is $110 and advance registration is required.
