LAKE CITY, S.C. (AP) - A man wanted in the killing of a woman in Richland County has been arrested in Lake City.

Police say they found 31-year-old Timotheus Hemingway at the home of a relative Saturday a few hours after a woman was found dead in a home in Eastover. Richland County deputies had asked officers to look for Hemingway at the home.

Deputies picked Hemingway up and brought him back to Richland County. He has been charged with murder, and it wasn’t known if he had a lawyer.

Investigators say Theresa Steward died from injuries after being beaten in the head, but released few other details about the killing.
