BAGAD, Fla. (AP) - Two-time Masters winner Bubba Watson is thanking his hometown fans for their support.
The Pensacola News Journal (https://on.pnj.com/1tJLviN ) reports that Watson recently returned to the small Panhandle town of Bagdad to celebrate his second Masters victory with the people who know him best.
Wearing his green championship jacket, he spoke to students at Bagdad Elementary School, Hobbs Middle School and Milton High School. He also visited with kids at an area golf course.
The six-time PGA tour winner presented his hometown schools with a $35,000 check to help buy computers and other classroom technology.
