SHELBY VALLEY, Ky. (AP) - Firefighters in eastern Kentucky spent part of the weekend battling a blaze inside a train tunnel.

WKYT-TV in Lexington reported (https://bit.ly/1flopuF ) that units were called at about 10 p.m. EST Saturday to the tunnel in Shelby Valley.

Officials said the fire continued to burn into Sunday morning, but no homes were threatened and no injuries were reported.



The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
