ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Authorities in Albuquerque say alcohol may have been a factor in a car crash that left a 22-year-old man dead.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff Department says formal charges have yet to be filed in the Saturday morning crash on Coors Boulevard near Gun Club Road.

Sgt. Aaron Williamson says Jezelle Jojola was driving a pickup truck when it went off the road and hit a utility pole.

Williamson says Jojola was hospitalized but a passenger, 22-year-old Kenneth Martinez, was pronounced dead.
