TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Three people have been injured in the crash of a small aircraft in Nowata County.

The Tulsa World reports (https://bit.ly/1rBRILy ) that authorities received a report that a plane had crashed around the intersection of two county roads. Sheriff’s deputies say the crash was reported just before 1:30 p.m. slightly north of Wann, about 20 miles northeast of Bartlesville.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the plane, a single-engine Beechcraft BE-36, was en route to Claremore Regional Airport when the pilot reported engine trouble. The plane crashed shortly afterward.



The injured were transported by Kansas medical personnel and all were listed in stable condition Sunday afternoon. They were not immediately identified.

The FAA is investigating the cause of the crash.
