KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) - Police believe they’ve recovered the body of a man who disappeared this month at a Kalamazoo lake.

Public Safety Chief Jeff Hadley says the body was discovered Friday. It’s likely Takashi Sugimori, the husband of a Kalamazoo College professor. He went to the lake to cross-country ski three weeks ago.

The Kalamazoo Gazette (https://bit.ly/1mIpCw4) says an autopsy is planned for Saturday.

Police believe Sugimori fell through the ice at Asylum Lake. His skis were inside his vehicle.
