Bacala says detectives spotted 42-year-old Richard W. Dent Jr. Thursday morning allegedly smoking marijuana in the complex parking lot.
Once inside Dent’s home where his three young children were living, Bacala says detectives found 31 potted marijuana plants.
Dent was booked with single counts of second-offense possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and cultivation of marijuana and three counts of illegal use of a controlled substance in the presence of persons younger than 17.
It was unclear whether Dent has an attorney.
