RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - An Iredell County man is about to reap a significant windfall, courtesy of the N.C. Education Lottery.

The man is scheduled to receive his $3 million prize Friday morning at the Statesville store where he bought the ticket. Alice Garland, executive director of the Education Lottery, is to present the check at Fast Express 1 on Hickory Highway.

Lottery spokesman Van Denton said the winner chose to receive the $3 million prize in annuity payments of $150,000 over 20 years.
