SAN ANGELO, Texas (AP) - A West Texas man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for a fatal shooting during a party in a pasture.

A jury in San Angelo on Tuesday convicted 19-year-old Trestin Blake Wollner of murder. Jurors on Wednesday decided the penalty for Wollner in the December 2012 killing of 19-year-old Samuel Sterling Harrison.

An affidavit says Harrison had become argumentative toward Wollner and several people during the party and a fight broke out.

Wollner, who apologized to the victim’s family in court, was also fined $5,000.
