RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging people to lock up their recreational vehicle batteries.
It’s investigating a rash of thefts targeting batteries in RVs around the county.
The sheriff’s office says batteries should be stored in a locked garage or other facility or put in a locked metal box.
