BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Authorities say a man who set himself on fire in Dickinson is in serious condition at a Minnesota hospital.

Dickinson police tell the Bismarck Tribune (https://bit.ly/1nqYR1L ) that the 33-year-old Mandan man doused himself in gasoline on Monday, after thinking he had been sprayed with chemicals. He set himself on fire when he lit a cigarette.

He was taken to the Regions Burn Center in St. Paul, Minn.



Police say the man faces several charges including ingestion of a controlled substance, theft of property, criminal trespass and reckless driving.
