ST. LOUIS (AP) - The license collector for the city of St. Louis says she is no long working a second government job as a part-time prosecutor for a small municipality in St. Louis County.

Mavis Thompson tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch https://bit.ly/1hsgm9U that she was resigned her as city prosecutor in Dellwood. Thompson was appointed to the St. Louis job by Gov. Jay Nixon in October 2013 while already serving in the Dellwood position. She is up for election this coming November.

Thompson said she didn’t do Dellwood work until her St. Louis daily duties were taken care of. The arrangement had drawn criticism from some City Hall observers.
