DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say one person is dead after a South Florida commuter train hit a car.
Delray Beach police say the car was going over the CSX tracks west of Interstate 95 Thursday morning when the northbound Tri-Rail train hit it.
The person in the car died at the scene, and authorities say seven people on the train were injured.
The Palm Beach Post (https://goo.gl/8foS3m) reports that the train was carrying about 90 people. While the track was closed, Tri-Rail arranged for a bus to carry travelers between the Boca Raton and Delray Beach stations.
