NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD has released a video of a suspect in a Brooklyn carjacking that led to a seven-car pileup.

The incident began around 10:30 p.m. on March 30 at the intersection of Bedford Avenue and Fenimore Street.

Police say the suspect stole an SUV at gunpoint when the driver stopped at a red light.



The crash occurred three hours later at Bedford and Clarkson avenues, in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood.

According to WABC (https://bit.ly/QEynvP ), seven people were hurt, two of them seriously.

The driver abandoned the SUV and ran away after the crash.
