SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) - A Scottsbluff man has agreed to a plea deal in connection to a high-speed chase last month.
The Scottsbluff Star Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1tDHRqA ) 23-year-old Alejandro Paramo entered a no contest plea Wednesday to multiple charges, including operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest.
Paramo was arrested March 19 following a high-speed chase. He is accused of accelerating to speeds exceeding 100 mph. The chase ended when Paramo lost control and rolled his vehicle.
Police say they found weapons and methamphetamine at the scene of the accident.
Paramo is scheduled to be sentenced in early June.
