BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (AP) - A Louisiana man has been sentenced to serve 15 years in prison for robbing a Mississippi credit union in 2012.
Prosecutors say 43-year-old Jessie Landry of Pearl River, La., pleaded guilty to bank robbery Monday in Hancock County Circuit Court.
Judge Larry Bourgeois sentenced Landry to 25 years in prison, suspending 10, and leaving 15 to serve.
Last week, Landry’s wife, 34-year-old Aleshia Landry, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 15 years with 10 suspended and five to serve.
They were arrested for the Dec. 6, 2012, robbery of Keesler Federal Credit Union in Diamondhead, Miss. Local authorities had dubbed them “Bonnie and Clyde.”
