JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - Three men have been sentenced for their involvement in a methamphetamine distribution operation in Scott County.
Prosecutors say in a news release that 39-year-old Marlon Faber of Gardina, Calif., was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Jackson to 87 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.
Another man, 59-year-old Fredrick Stowers of Forest, was sentenced to 42 months with three years of supervised release for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Fifty-six-year-old Arthur Wayne Townsend of Forest was sentenced to 30 months and three years of supervised release for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Prosecutors say 17 people have now been convicted of trafficking methamphetamine in Scott County.
