ST. LOUIS (AP) - A St. Louis man with a long criminal history has pleaded guilty to 23 felony counts for a series of robberies in 2011.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/QuuKZD ) reports that 36-year-old Dominique Petty entered the plea Monday as part of an agreement with prosecutors, who will recommend a 25-year sentence. Formal sentencing is May 16.

In one crime, Petty and another man fired a gun as a warning and declared they were police before forcing themselves inside a home. The men then blindfolded two victims, ransacked the home and took ATM cards, car keys and other items. That case alone resulted in 12 felony counts against Petty, whose criminal history included drug charges, weapons charges and child abuse.
