CAHOKIA, Ill. (AP) - Police have identified a 21-year-old man who was shot to death in the southwestern Illinois village of Cahokia (kuh-HOH-kee-uh).

St. Clair County Coroner Rick Stone says Rahmahjae Rogers was shot in the head about 10:30 p.m. Monday while standing by a van. Relatives took him to a hospital, where he died.

The possible motive for the shooting was unclear.



Investigators say two people are being questioned in the case.

There’s no immediate word on charges.
