DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Authorities say three people have been injured in a Des Moines house fire.

Des Moines television station KCCI says (https://bit.ly/1iFecZc ) the blaze began around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday. Flames had engulfed the front of the house by the time firetrucks arrived.

Officials say three occupants suffered burns and smoke inhalation before they could escape. They were taken to a hospital.



Officials say the fire damaged siding on a house next door.

The fire cause is being investigated.
