NEWARK, Del. (AP) - Newark Police say three University of Delaware students have been arrested after a fourth student was beaten during a home invasion.
It happened about 2 a.m. Saturday in an apartment on Wrightstown Lane. Officers say three students kicked in a bedroom door and began assaulting a fourth student there.
Police say the student was kicked, punch and hit with a jar. Authorities say he was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for a broken cheekbone and cuts.
Twenty-one-year-old Andrew E. Lee of McLean, Va., 21-year-old Jason Zimmell of Lincroft, N.J. and 23-year-old Ayrton Doerr of Wayne, N.J. were each charged with home invasion, assault and other offenses.
