BEND, Ore. (AP) - Vandals who opened a fire hydrant early Sunday in Bend caused significant flood damage to at least two homes.

KTVZ reports (https://bit.ly/1juXUQF ) the water was discovered by a security guard at Mount Bachelor Village and the water ran for more than 20 minutes before it was shut off.

Police Sgt. Dan Ritchie says water was several inches deep in one home with mud and debris forced inside.
