Brewer appoints Karl Eppich as Pinal County judge

PHOENIX (AP) - A Mesa municipal court judge is Gov. Jan Brewer’s appointee to fill a Pinal County Superior Court vacancy.

Brewer on Monday appointed Karl Eppich to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Robert Carter Olson.

Eppich has been a Mesa municipal court judge in Mesa since 2000.

He previously worked as a staff attorney for the Arizona Court of Appeals and for two law firms and as a deputy county attorney for Apache County.
