HASTINGS, Neb. (AP) - Authorities have release the name of a 4-year-old boy who was fatally injured in a shooting at a Hastings residence.
The boy was identified as Beau Pecor.
Police Chief Pete Kortum (KOR’-tuhm) says the shooting was reported a little after 8:15 a.m. Friday at a home on North Saunders Avenue. Kortum says the boy was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Investigators have said the shooting looks like an accident, but it remains under investigation.
