Shooting kills Harris County 17-year-old

HOUSTON (AP) - Police are investigating the death of a 17-year-old who was found shot in northwest Harris County.

The Houston Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/1i2kL9n ) that witnesses saw Luis Arias get out of his car around 9:30 p.m. Friday on Fry Road west of downtown Houston.

He later collapsed to the ground. .

Paramedics determined that Arias had sustained a single gunshot wound. He eventually was pronounced dead at Methodist Hospital.

The case remains under investigation. Few details were available.
