SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a former Mesa police officer is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at his Scottsdale art gallery.

Scottsdale police say 42-year-old Walter Knox also is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon.

Police say Knox was arrested last Friday, but is out of jail.

They say a search warrant was served at Knox Artifacts in downtown Scottsdale last week,

Two women in their late 20s are listed as victims in the police report with one of the women claiming sexual assault.

The report also says that officers say they found cocaine and guns when they searched Knox’s art gallery.

It was unclear Wednesday if Knox has an attorney yet.
