2-year-old child hit by car, hospitalized

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (AP) - Police in Middlebury, Vt., say a 2 ½-year-old child has been hospitalized after being hit by a car.

WPTZ-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1ebHoC1) police said the toddler was suffering from potentially life-threatening injuries and was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center on Tuesday afternoon.

Friends said the accident happened at the Otter Creek Child Center.
