ENFIELD, Conn. (AP) - A Windsor woman working as a travel agent is facing charges she used a customer’s credit card to pay for shopping, limousine services and flights.
The Journal Inquirer reports (https://bit.ly/1jkyBAI ) 64-year-old Elaine H. Miller was arraigned Thursday in Enfield Superior Court on charges of first-degree larceny and illegal use of a credit card. Her bond was set at $35,000.
Miller said Saturday she’s seeking an attorney and declined further comment.
Authorities say a Hartford lawyer approached Windsor police last August and provided documents detailing unauthorized transactions totaling about $90,000 that had been racked up on his West Hartford client’s credit card by Miller.
