NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Police in Norman say at least one person was injured when a car collided with a freight train.

Television station KOCO reports (https://bit.ly/1eI0s0m ) that the collision at North Flood Avenue and Lexington Street occurred about 10:20 a.m.

Officials say the driver of the car was extracted from the mangled vehicle.



The train was traveling northbound at the time of the collision and the crash is snarling traffic in the area. Additional details were not immediately available.
