FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - State wildlife officials are offering a bowhunting course in Fort Lauderdale where students can get hands-on experience shooting a bow and arrow on a range.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is hosting the course on Thursday at Fort Lauderdale Archers. Participants must complete the online portion before the course and bring it with them.
Students will learn about safe and responsible tree stand usage, big game shot placement and recovery. Students are encouraged to bring their own equipment
