LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) - Authorities think a Longmont woman found dead in a field may have died of exposure.
The body of 31-year-old Jessica Lynn Shackelford was discovered in an alfalfa field north of Longmont on Monday, two days after she left her home on foot after a fight with her husband.
Boulder County sheriff’s spokeswoman Heidi Prentup told the Longmont Times-Call (https://bit.ly/1qK3MtN ) that alcohol may have played a role in her death too.
The temperature dropped to 28 on Saturday night and to 18 on Sunday night.
