EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - A federal jury sided with a Eugene man whose car was towed after a traffic stop.

The jury in Eugene last week ordered Lane County to pay Donald Long more than $25,000 for violating his constitutional rights.

The Register-Guard reports (https://bit.ly/1mcDi27) a sheriff’s deputy improperly seized his car after a traffic stop and the sheriff’s office failed to provide him with adequate due process.
