Iowa City fire damages several businesses

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - Several businesses have been damaged by a fire that ripped through a commercial building in Iowa City.

The Iowa City Press-Citizen (https://icp-c.com/RojUF7 ) says firefighters were dispatched at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday to the 16,000-square-foot metal warehouse on the southeast side of the city. No injuries have been reported.

The building is divided into about a dozen bays. Firefighters reported several explosions as they fought the flames.

The fire cause is being investigated.
